1890年のアメリカ。総距離約4,000マイル、賞金総額5,000万ドル、人類史上初の乗馬による北米大陸横断レース｢スティール･ボール･ラン｣が開催されようとしていた。
かつて天才騎手と呼ばれながらも、半身不随となり、失意の中にいたジョニィ･ジョースター。
彼はこのレースで優勝を目論む謎のアウトロー、ジャイロ･ツェペリが引き起こした不思議な現象に希望を見出し、「スティール･ボール･ラン」への参加を決意する。
二人はそれぞれの思惑を胸に協力関係を結び、過酷な冒険＜レース＞へと踏み出す――。
It’s 1890, in America, the Steel Ball Run — the first horse racing championship across the North American continent — was about to begin. Spanning around 4,000 miles, the race offered 50 million dollars as the winning prize.
Johnny Joestar, once being hailed as a genius jockey, is now paralysed and lost in despair.
He finds hope in the mysterious phenomena caused by Gyro Zeppeli, an outlaw aiming to win the race, and determines to participate in the Steel Ball Run Race.
Each having their own goal in mind, the two form an alliance and set foot upon the gruelling adventure and race.
2nd&3rd STAGE
総距離約750マイルの砂漠越え――
ジョニィ・ジョースターとジャイロ・ツェペリが挑むその砂漠には“悪魔の手のひら”と恐れられる土地が存在した。
さらに、不穏な事件が巻き起こり、このレースがただの競技大会ではないことを思い知らされる。
ふたりは様々な思惑が交錯する2nd STAGEへ立ち向かう。
A desert crossing spanning roughly 750 miles-
the land that Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli must challenge, is home to the area that is feared as the "Devil's Palm." As ominous incidents begin to unfold, they are forced to realize that this race is far more than a mere competition.
The two press forward into the 2nd STAGE, where countless hidden motives collide.
